Context and challenges: Jordenen 's testimonial on the Virtual Showroom solution

Presentation of the interviewee : Bénédicte Lallement

Bénédicte Lallement is Jordenen's Communications & Marketing Manager.

Presentation of the company

Founded in 1969 in Orléans (45) by Messrs Jorlin and Radenen, Jordenen specializes in promotional objects and textiles, as well as business gifts. For over 50 years, the company has evolved to become an innovative and meaningful communications agency.

Jordenen's mission is to provide a global, sustainable and personalized solution to develop the responsible message of tomorrow.

There are currently 4 branches in France (Orléans, Malakoff, La Ciotat and Mougins), each with its own showroom.

What was your problem?

The company is facing increasingly intense competition in the market. As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, our showrooms experienced a drop in traffic. We therefore wanted to develop a solution that could offer our customers digital access to our showrooms, without them having to travel.

What were your objectives with this solution?

We had multiple objectives.

Firstly, to truly differentiate ourselves from our competitors and offer our customers a new digital solution.

To meet a real need: to enable our customers to visit the showroom without having to bring several people.

Better customer orientation: the showroom enables our sales teams to better advise and identify their customers' preferences and needs. Teams can make an initial, more targeted pre-selection of communication objects before considering a physical appointment.

Overall, we were looking to offer a unique and innovative experience to our customers, using our virtual showroom to retain existing customers and attract new ones.

Solution and feedback: Jordenen's testimonial on the Virtual Showroom solution

What did you find easy/difficult to set up?

It's important to recognize that a project like this can be challenging and unexpected. Our needs were very specific and were the subject of tailor-made developments.

Retail VR has a dedicated team that stands out for its attentive listening and first-rate service. Alban (Head of Sales Retail VR) and Matthieu (CSM Retail VR) provide high-quality support and training. They are constantly striving to present practical cases, concrete examples and adapted solutions to meet these specific needs.

What are the advantages of this solution?

We've seen a significant increase in the number of appointments for our sales staff as a result of our work on the virtual showroom. We've developed another form of proximity with our customers, even though we're hundreds of kilometers apart. We make showroom visits fun and dynamic. Some of the objects have been modeled in 3D, so it's possible to manipulate them. We're pioneers in our market.

What benefits did you perceive? Have you had any feedback on this use?

The most frequent feedback we receive is the wow effect! Indeed, as soon as we open the virtual showroom, we notice a reaction of amazement among our customers. The reaction is often "can you do all that?

They appreciate the immersive experience we offer, which sets us apart from our competitors. Thanks to the virtual showroom, our customers are able to see our entire offering in a comprehensive way. This opens up a whole new world of possibilities. As well as being an essential sales tool, it's also a fantastic educational tool for our customers. We effectively present the different materials, ranges, finishes, and the many possibilities in marking and personalization techniques.

Collaboration and follow-up: Jordenen testifies to its virtual showroom solution

Why did you choose Retail VR?

We chose Retail VR because we were won over by their expertise in 3D modeling and their innovative approach. As a French company, we attach great importance to supporting "made in France", which we also promote in our product offerings.

What's next for this project?

This project will develop and mature with the agency as it evolves. We are already planning to open Concept Stores around specific product ranges and themes. Our aim is to continue offering premium quality service to our customers.

Retail VR

Founded in 2018, Retail VR offers a 3D experience platform to accelerate sales and retail processes.

Limited travel, high showroom operating costs, reduced carbon footprints - in this context, it's hard to come up with new concepts, or successfully launch a product or run a promotional campaign.

Thanks to our 2D/3D converter, we can create 3D environments and content very quickly.

Our solutions help brand owners and retailers to simulate their points of sale, validate product launches and work on consumer studies. We also help them to digitalize their showrooms and offer immersive, brand-enhancing shopping experiences, thus saving time and money.
