Intermarché reinvents the magic of Christmas: an immersive showroom for the whole family

To celebrate the magic of Christmas, Intermarché is innovating this year by launchingSanta's Workshop, an innovative concept that transports children and parents into an enchanted virtual world. Accessible via a simple QR code, integrated into the toy catalog, this immersive experience allows families to discover Christmas toys in 3D through a virtual showroom.

Intermarché pulls out all the stops 🎁

L'atelier du Père Noël d'Intermarché is more than just an online catalog, it's a plunge into the heart of Christmas enchantment. Thanks to virtual reality, families can explore a magical universe where each toy comes to life in an interactive environment. The QR code becomes the key to a world where imagination meets technology to create an unforgettable experience.

3D technology brings toys to life in a whole new way. Children can see every detail of the dolls, cars and board games as if they were actually there. Parents, meanwhile, can appreciate the quality of the products and get a clear idea of the gifts they'll be choosing for their children. It's an innovative way of combining the convenience of online shopping with the tactileexperience of a physical store.

Santa's workshop also offers interactive features to capture the attention of young and old alike. It becomes a digital playground for exploration and creativity.

An experience full of surprises

The benefits of this experience are not limited to convenience. Intermarché's Santa's Workshop also fosters a closer connection between family members. By exploring the virtual showroom together, parents and children share moments of joy and complicity, strengthening family bonds in the run-up to the holidays. Here's a non-exhaustive list of the workshop's surprises:

Several Christmas DIYs (Do It Yourself) are hidden in the showroom, allowing children and parents to get together to carry out fun and stimulating activities.

Christmas recipes: 13 recipes are available in the form of a carousel, directly linked to the Intermarché ecommerce platform. Easy to prepare and suitable for children, these Christmas-inspired recipes are sure to brighten up any Christmas table.

Magical stories: the experience includes 2 stories, told by Santa and the elves. These audio tales, lasting just a few minutes, add to the visual magic of the setting.

Mobile games: several games are available on the course, allowing children to play and discover the games on offer from a playful angle.

Competitions :

2 competitions were organized. The operation, set up jointly by Sogec Marketing, initially offered the chance to win a number of Advent calendars. The main game offered other prizes, such as cinema tickets, a video game console and 4 tickets to an amusement park for family fun.

Intermaché pioneers the interactive digital catalog

Innovation, creativity and technology combine to offer families a unique and memorable Christmas experience. In this way, Santa's Workshop becomes much more than just a way to buy gifts, it embodies the magic and spirit of Christmas in the digital world.

Designed on Retail VR's 3D Commerce platform, Intermarché's Santa's workshop marks a new era in the Christmas shopping experience. Exploiting all the capabilities of the platform, integrating virtual reality, augmented reality, interactive elements, mobile games and a switch to the ecommerce site. Intermarché and Retail VR offer the first immersive experience of its kind.

One thing's for sure: Santa's workshop is much more than just a virtual showroom; it's an invitation to experience the magic of the festive season with the whole family.

In an era when leaflets are used less and less, Intermarché now offers a solution for the transition between paper Christmas catalogs and interactive digital catalogs.
